My Background

I am a seasoned therapist who takes a holistic, problem-solving approach to bodywork. I believe in creating a partnership with my clients in which we work together to educate ourselves about their postural and muscular conditions and each take steps to execute a plan to improve their overall health.

My background: I am California-licensed, insured and a graduate of the National Holistic Institute in Emeryville, California.  (CAMTC license # 16096)  I am a member of the American Massage Therapy Association and have 21 years of experience working in a wide variety of settings, including chiropractic centers, spas,  skilled nursing  facilities, massage clinics and health clubs.  I work with clients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly, as well as those on hospice.  I have worked with a number of pro athletes, including team members of the A's, Raiders and Warriors.  From 2016-2019, I was a volunteer MT at the Charlotte Maxwell Integrative Health Clinic that serves women with Cancer.  I provide  licensed massage in homes, care facilities, hotels and corporate/ wellness events throughout Alameda county, San Francisco county, some of San Mateo county and parts of Contra Costa county. 

 I have a background in both integrative wellness and  healthcare, holding an associate's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography and having studied at the California School of Herbal Studies and the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine  College. I am also an RNA (restorative nurse assistant working in the rehab department of an acute care hospital) and am currently pursuing a bachelor's in Public Health. I plan to eventually complete a master's in nursing and work as a nurse practitioner.

I specialize in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Pre Natal, Post Natal, Sports, Hot Stone and corporate chair massage. (Not currently providing hot stone massage.) I have a heater on my table, and I always supply complimentary aromatherapy with your session.  I especially enjoy working with elders and those with neurological conditions. I love what I do!
